Privacy Policy

How mmSMTP collects, uses, and protects your information — including how we handle crypto payments and keep your account data secure.

Last updated: 7 November 2026

Who we are

mmSMTP ("mmSMTP", "we", "us", or "our") provides crypto-friendly email infrastructure, SMTP and bulk-email services, webmail, web and WordPress hosting, VPS, dedicated and RDP servers, DNS, SSL, domain registration and related services through mmsmtp.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and secure our services:

  • Account & billing information — the name, email address, and any contact details you provide when you register or place an order; the products and services on your account; invoices, payment records, and the wallet or transaction references associated with your crypto payments. We do not take custody of your cryptocurrency and we do not store private keys or wallet seed phrases.
  • Service & usage data — information generated as you use our services, such as log-in times, IP addresses, server and resource usage, email-sending activity and volumes, domain and DNS records you configure, and diagnostic logs needed to run, troubleshoot, and protect the platform.
  • Support information — the contents of support tickets, emails, and any live-chat conversations, plus whatever details you choose to share so we can help you.
  • Website data — basic technical information your browser sends when you visit (IP address, browser type, pages viewed), used for security and to keep the site working.

Crypto & payment data

Our services are designed for customers who prefer to pay with cryptocurrency. When you pay in crypto, the payment is processed on public blockchains and, where applicable, through a third-party crypto payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment together with transaction identifiers (for example, a transaction hash or a payment reference) and the amount and currency, which we keep as part of your billing record. We do not collect or store card numbers for crypto payments, and we never ask for, or store, your wallet private keys or recovery phrases. Blockchain transactions are public by nature and are outside our control.

Cookies and tools we use

We keep tracking to a minimum:

  • Essential cookies — used by our client area and checkout to keep you logged in, maintain your cart, and protect against fraud. The site does not work properly without these.
  • Fonts — our pages load web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address in order to serve the font files.
  • Live chat & analytics — if live chat or website analytics are enabled, those providers may process limited data (such as your messages or anonymised usage statistics) to provide that feature. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels on our marketing pages.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features (such as logging in to your account) may stop working.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account, process orders, and deliver the services you buy.
  • To take payment, issue invoices and receipts, and keep accurate billing records.
  • To provide support and respond to your requests.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our platform — including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, spam, and attacks.
  • To send service and account notices (for example, invoices, renewal reminders, and important changes). These are not marketing and are part of providing the service.
  • To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use rules.

When we share data

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary:

  • Service providers — our data centre and server providers, crypto payment processor, domain registrars and registries, SSL certificate authorities, and similar vendors who help us deliver the services you ordered, acting on our instructions.
  • Domain registration — registering a domain requires sending registrant details to the relevant registry/registrar as required by ICANN and the registry; WHOIS privacy may be available depending on the extension.
  • Legal & safety — where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, or threats to our network, our customers, or others. See our abuse-handling note below.

Data retention

We keep account, billing, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. Operational logs are kept only as long as useful for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and monitoring for abuse and intrusion. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password safe and for securing your own wallets and keys.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights, or ask a question, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first, and some data (such as billing records we must retain by law) may not be deletable on request.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 (or the age of majority where you live). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Reporting abuse

If you need to report spam, abuse, phishing, or any other policy violation involving our network, email [email protected] and our team will investigate promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be announced through the client area or by email. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
